RIDGWAY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: RACC
    The Ridgway Area Chamber of Commerce's website gives you a great
    tour of Ridgway - restaurants, lodging, activities, photo tours, and more.

COLORADO OUTDOOR RECREATION SEARCH AND RESCUE: CORSAR
    This organization provides support for the Search and Rescue Fund and
    for vendors of the CORSAR card, which each hiker should have in his/her
    possession when on the trails. The Colorado Search and Rescue Fund
    reimburses county government for expenses incurred during search and
    rescue activities. The CORSAR card was established to allow those who
    use Colorado's backcountry to contribute to the fund, even if they don't
    have a current hunting or fishing license, snowmobile, ATV, or boat
    registration, all of which contribute to the fund through a 25 cent surcharge.

    The cost is $3.00 for one year or $12.00 for five years. The Ouray Trail
    Group has these cards for sale as do several stores and organizations in
    Ouray: APTEKA, San Juan Adventure, Ouray Mountain Rescue Team,
    Inc., Ouray Mountain Sports; and in Ridgway: Ridgway Outdoor
    Experience, and Ridgway State Park.

COLORADO FOURTEENERS INITIATIVE: 14ERS
    The mission of the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative is to protect and preserve
    the natural integrity of Colorado's 14,000-foot peaks through active sterwarship
    and public education.

KELVIN KENT: KELVIN
    Kelvin Kent is an active member of the Ouray Trail Group and has written
    two successful hiking books for the Ouray area which compliment the,
    Ouray Trail Group map, Hiking Trails of Ouray County. His books,
    entitled
Ouray Hiking Guide and Trails Less Traveled, each describe
    about 30 wonderful hikes from easy to difficult (including Mount Sneffels)
    and are available from Buckskin Booksellers and Ouray Mountain Sports in
    Ouray, Ridgway Outdoor Experience in Ridgway and various other outlets in
    the region. He has also written the
Silverton Hiking Guide. Kelvin may
